The widespread adoption of AI systems in these industries and others has led to significant job losses, and has also had a negative impact on the communities that rely on those jobs. To mitigate this, it is important to consider how the benefits of AI can be shared more widely and responsibly. For instance, investing in retraining programs for the affected workers, and creating new jobs in the field of AI and related fields are things that can be done following this statement.
Lastly, one of the most important aspects of using AI mindfully is being transparent about its capabilities and limitations.
